FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building. The device for cooling and lubricating the piston (1) of an internal combustion engine (ICE) includes an oil nozzle (11), a piston (1), a piston pin (10), a head (2) of the piston, a skirt (5) of the piston, in the wall of which there is a through hole (8), the axis of which is located normal to the central axis of the piston. In the zone of conjugation of the internal surfaces of the head (2) and the skirt (5) of the piston, a heat transfer element (3) is made, containing a smooth flat oil-receiving surface (4) facing the oil nozzle, having a circle shape in projection onto the cross section of the piston, the center of which lies in the plane passing through the central axes of the piston (1), the through hole (8) in the skirt (5) of the piston and the oil nozzle (11), at the intersection of the axes of the oil nozzle (11) and the through hole (8) in the skirt (5) of the piston, which located in the direction of the central axis of the piston within the distance between the upper edge of the skirt (5) of the piston and the point corresponding to half the length of the skirt (5) of the piston.
EFFECT: improving the reliability of the ICE.
