FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; connecting rod-and-piston groups. SUBSTANCE: piston head of connecting rod has boss in its upper portion. Reactive action cooling oil jet sprayer is installed on end face of boss. Sprayer has hub with spherical nozzles arranged in diametral plane of hub. Each nozzle has spherical accumulating spaces and at least two holes in additional to holes which serve to provide rotation of hub owing to ejection of cooling oil jets. Additional holes are oriented towards piston crown, are arranged at angle relative to each other, are connected with radial channels of hub through nozzle spaces and are pointed to cooled surfaces of piston head under piston pin bosses. Hub of sprayer is secured on boss by means of pin whose stem is hollow. Radial holes are made in stem fitting zone. These holes connect pin space with ring space of hub. Threaded hole is made in connecting rod head boss which serves to secure threaded portion of pin. Threaded hole is connected with system of inlet channels of connecting rod. Sliding or antifriction bearings are installed between end face surfaces of hub and support surfaces of pin head and connecting rod head boss pointed to hub. EFFECT: improved lubrication. 3 cl, 3 dwg
