FIELD: self-contained heaters using the principle of catalytic oxidation of hydrocarbon fuels for production of heat, applicable for heating of rooms, installations and people. SUBSTANCE: the heater has a body in the from of a box of a square or some other cross-section, sealed in all joints, its one or two sides are provided with parts closed with an allowance around the edges by catalytic elements tightened by a clip. Installed in the lower part of the body cavity is a tubular evaporator connected to the fuel tank through a fuel tube and cock. Installed on the outer side of the body is a rotary deflector designed for changing the direction of thermal infra-red radiation. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced efficiency of heating. 4 cl, 11 dwg
