FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: hybrid magnetic bearing with axial control contains a shaft (1), housing (2), radial magnetic support, stator and rotor of the axial electromagnetic support, safety mechanical bearings (15) and four motion sensors (6, 8, 10, 12). The radial magnetic support is designed as coaxially located with the same poles to each other of fixed ring permanent magnets (3), installed in the housing (2), and mobile ring permanent magnets (4), installed on the shaft (1). The stator is designed as four E-shaped electromagnets (5, 7, 9, 11), installed on a ring (13). The rotor is designed as ferromagnetic disk (14), installed on the shaft (1).

EFFECT: increase of controllability of the shaft position in magnetic bearings and expansion of functionalities by adding of angular distortions control.
