FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: screw tensioner of conveyer belt comprises a tensioning drum (1), connected with cross slides (2), guides (3) for cross slides (2), pushing screws (4), interacting with cross slides (2) and screwed into nuts (5). The device is fitted with stops (6), each of which contains a handle (c) and two holes, one of which (d) is displaced with reference to direct-axis (e) of the stop and where the axis (8), fixed on the guide is installed. The nuts are designed as cylinders or prisms. From the one side nuts have thread, and from the other side perpendicularly the thread centreline the hole is drilled, into where the small axis (7), connecting nuts with stops through their unshifted hole (b) is inserted. The direct-axis of stops passes through centreline (a) of the tensioning drum.

EFFECT: fast movement of the tensioning drum with cross slides and their return them into initial position without change of tension of tensioning drum and without using of tools.
