FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device for electrochemical treatment of drinking water contains a reactor 1 with located in it above its bottom the package of electrodes 3, comprising the cathodes and, at least, one soluble anode, and the power supply 2, the outputs of which are connected to the package of electrodes, meanwhile the lateral clearances of the package of electrodes are enclosed by inter-electrode gaskets 4, made from dielectric material. At the upper end of the package of electrodes symmetrically with reference to its lateral faces the gasket 5 is placed. The gasket is made with punching from metal or dielectric material.
EFFECT: increase of service life of soluble electrodes, increase of cost efficiency at the expense of minimising of losses of material of soluble electrodes, inevitable at a mechanical square-wave stripping, and lowering of labour expenditures for servicing of the device at keeping of high quality of cleaning of treated water and simplicity of the device design.
