SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flame retardant materials. The flame retardant coating composition for metal and reinforced concrete structures includes ammonium polyphosphate, melamine and pentaerythritol, a water-soluble sublimation-purified copolymer of vinyl acetate and an inert filler.
EFFECT: invention improves thixotropy, moisture resistance, as well as strength and adhesion of the coating film to metal and reinforced concrete structures with a high swelling coefficient.
