FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of heat-resistant articles from ceramic materials which can be used in electrical engineering. A silicon nitride powder composition with metal oxide additives selected from: Al2O3, Y2O3, MgO, taken in amounts of Al2O3 2-6 wt %, Y2O3 not more than 9 wt %, MgO not more than 6 wt % of the weight of the mixture (total amount of additives is not more than 17% of the weight of the mixture) is subjected to mechanical activation in an ethanol medium, dried and subjected to uniaxial cold pressing in a closed press mould at 50-100 MPa. The obtained workpieces are annealed on air in a silicon nitride filling at 600°C and then sintered in a silicon nitride filling.
EFFECT: improved physical and mechanical properties of the articles and making articles with an irregular shape.
