FIELD: ceramics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of obtaining products from structural ceramics based on silicon nitride, including blanks in the form of spheres for manufacturing of rolling elements of all-ceramic and hybrid bearings. The proposed method includes mixing silicon nitride powder with a liquid oxide sintering additive precursor, drying the mixture, grinding the resulting charge, molding the workpiece by cold isostatic pressing, and high-temperature vacuum-compression sintering. A non-hydrolyzable solution of an organoelement compound in the form of organoyttriumoxanalumoxane or magnesium organoxanittriioxanalumoxane is used as a liquid precursor of the oxide sintering additive, and pyrolysis is carried out to remove the organic component of the organoelement compound.
EFFECT: increased degree of homogeneity and purity of the initial mixture and workability of the method for producing products based on silicon nitride ceramics.
