SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a control-gate apparatus with an entrance security cabin whose exit is closed by an exit door. In the apparatus, the exit door (5) opens based on a signal from at least one biometric unit (8) installed in the zone (3) of the entrance security cabin, the biometric unit enabling detection of biometric features of a passing person and being installed frontally relative to the entrance of the zone (3) of the entrance security cabin and preferably built into the exit door (5) of the zone (3) of the entrance security cabin. Therefore, a person entering the zone (3) of the entrance security cabin is inevitably in the right position for recognition by the biometric unit (8), i.e., in a frontal position relative to the biometric unit.
EFFECT: more reliable operation of a crossing point.
