FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: six-phase thyratron inductor motor comprises a salient-pole symmetric stator having 24 concentrated poles with windings and a rotor having 20 poles without windings. Angular width of the stator poles is equal to 6 degrees. Angular width of the stator interpolar distance is equal to 9 degrees. Angular width of the rotor poles is equal to angular width of interpolar distance and equal to 9 degrees. The motor stator is equipped with wye- or delta-connected concentric three-phase windings. Windings of each of three phases cover simultaneously three poles and one stator pole placed in the middle of the three poles. Number of turns covering three poles of the stator is related to number of turns covering one pole of the stator, approximately as 1/0.73.

EFFECT: reduced number of the motor leads and reduced weight and dimensions of the inverter.
