FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to protection of underground facilities and pipelines from electrochemical corrosion and may be used for recovery of deep anode beds (DAB). The method includes diagnosing of the rock beds with minimum specific electrical resistivity by vertical electrical sounding, calculation of parameters for DAB made of prefabricated electrodes, washing of the deep anode bed to the target depth, dewatering, setdown of the prefabricated electrodes, filling with carbonaceous backfill, connection of grounders to the cathodic protection station, at that additional DAB diagnosing from inside, corrosive deposits are destructed and removed from DAB and installation of the prefabricated electrodes and filling with carbonaceous backfill is made simultaneously with staged buildup and compaction.

EFFECT: improving efficiency of DAB operability recovery due to elimination of contact electrical resistance at inner and outer surface of recovered DAB column, homogenous filling with carbonaceous backfill thus reducing reduction of DAB resistance, ensuring reliable determination of its design parameters as well as DAB reliability and durability.
