SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coffee capsule (1), external dimensions of which match with those of a filtered-coffee capsule, but having element (22) that separates empty area (32) from extraction-material area (31). Also provided is at least one channel (33) for liquid, passing, for example, through empty area. Channel (or channels) for liquid and extraction-material area is(are) made such that, water contained in capsule at point of injection, or beverage brewed in capsule essentially does not enter empty area.
EFFECT: use of capsule made according to invention allows drinkers of coffee brewed in a coffee maker with filter, to also brew espresso coffee.
