FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: radiometer, comprising a microcontroller, an antenna, a directional coupler, an noise generator, a high-frequency selector, n outputs of which are connected to first inputs of n circulators, second inputs of which are connected to n matched loads, n series-connected receivers, low frequency preamplifiers, synchronous filters, low frequency amplifiers, high-pass filters, comparators, second inputs of which are connected to the common bus of the radiometer, and outputs of the n comparators are connected to n inputs of the microcontroller, the first output of which is connected to the control input of the high-frequency selector, m outputs are connected to control inputs of the n synchronous filters, and the second output of the microcontroller is the output of the radiometer, wherein the directional coupler, noise generator, high-frequency selector, n circulators and n matched loads are mounted on a temperature-controlled board and are in thermal contact with said board; the apparatus includes, on the temperature-controlled board and in thermal contact with said board, n-1 noise generators, n-1 directional couplers, n controlled current sources, the outputs of which are connected to series-connected n noise generators and n directional couplers, the second inputs of the n directional couplers are connected to outputs of the n circulators, and the outputs of the n directional couplers are connected to inputs of n receivers, the first inputs of the controlled current sources are integrated and connected to the third outputs of the microcontroller, and their second inputs are connected to k outputs of the microcontroller; the antenna is connected to the input of the high-frequency selector.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities on rapid tuning to different measurement ranges taking into account nonideality of microwave elements included in the input unit.
