FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method includes successively gluing in inserts into grooves of a base with pre-positioning of said inserts relative to the base and monitoring topographic characteristics of each insert, adjusting the base and the inserts and monitoring optical characteristics of each insert. The inserts are inserted into the grooves of the base by an assembler of an optical bench for gluing in, where said inserts are fixed by a retaining unit with the possibility of inclination, vertical and horizontal movement. Topographical characteristics are monitored before positioning the inserts relative to the base which is performed without contact. Adjustment of the base and the inserts is carried out relative to the laser beam in the visible spectrum with a quasi-planar wave front and divergence of θ≤3·10-5 rad. Optical characteristics are monitored by detecting the focal spot of the mirror on a detector, which is superimposed with a cross which fixes the optical axis of the beam.
EFFECT: providing accuracy of assembly by aligning the base, the blocking envelope and the mirror with high accuracy without repeating operations.
