FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to restorative medicine and concerns an underwater vertical spine extension. The declared method can be particularly used for treating and preventing lumbosacral diseases, wherein the spinal extension is considered to be effective. The method provides holding the patient in deep water by means of an aquabelt that represents an unloaded floating device fixed to a chest; the session lasts for at least 40 minutes.
EFFECT: using the aquabelt enables the patient doing physical exercises to unload his/her spine and to strengthen his/her muscles supporting the spine.
