INERTIAL SWITCH Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC H01H35/14

Abstract RU 2541510 C1

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: inertial switch comprises hermetic package, guide bushing for free movement of inertia block with contact pairs. The switch is also equipped with a blocking unit consisting of a locking bushing and balls placed in panels at butt end of the locking bushing and rotating polarised electromagnetic drive connected to the blocking unit. The inertia block is made as a ball and pressed by a cylindrical spring to the guide bushing wall, at that movable part of the main contact is fixed at the ball through isolator.

EFFECT: expanding scope of application due to improved resistivity to mechanical impact and ensured closure of the main contact in case of overload directed along the switch axis and at angle to it.
