FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical equipment and can be used in electrical installations with a voltage class of up to 20 kV for the single-phase power or measuring transformer protection against the short circuit in the transformer secondary circuit, and also against overloads in the transformer primary winding at a rated protection tripping current of 0.3 A. Safety device comprises a housing (1) in the form of a tube with contact caps (2, 3) with a cylindrical contact protrusion, electromagnetic breaker (4), breaker control unit (5), free breaking mechanism 6, operating indicator 7. Electromagnetic breaker (4) comprises a magnetic circuit (8), inductance coil (9) with a magnetic core (10) and an armature (11). Breaker control unit (5) comprises a parallel-connected self-recovering fuse (12) (thermistor) and a variable resistor (13). Unit (5) is assembled on a double-sided mounting plate (14). Free breaking mechanism (6) comprises guide member (15), bushing (16) disconnecting spring (17), damping spring (18), monofilament (19).
EFFECT: safety device design, the lack of response to current changes caused by impulse over-voltages, including and accidental peak over-voltages, exclusion of the consumer unjustified disconnection, possibility of obtaining of the reliable information about the device operation, increasing safety.
