FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed freewheel consisting of pivoting self-orienting wheel with yoke fitted in bearings of head stem. Screw with handle is fitted at opposite end of said head stem interacting with wheelchair frame with step. Screw spinning causes the turn of head stem with wheel in vertical plane. Detachable square-section rods is secured to wheelchair steps and inclined with its end downward with saddle-like boss secured thereto from above. Rectangular tube fitted on said rod is secured to opposite end of head stem. Vertical prop with screw and unit fitted therein is secured to said rectangular tube. Said nut is secured to rectangular tube. Screw rounded end thrusts against said rod saddle-like boss. Screw top end is equipped with pivoted handle its pin being arranged perpendicular to said screw.
