FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has frame and sit. The frame is mounted on self-directed wheels and two driving wheels. Wheel forks are fixed in frame bearings and attached to the frame with hinged joins. Two hand levers with handles are mounted with swinging option. Each handle is connected to its proper driving wheel fork via shafts and conic gears. Swinging of each lever is related to its driving wheel rotation due to transmitting mechanism having its guide member manufactured in its driving wheel fork having a rod and strip. The strip passes through the frame, gear mounted on driving wheel axle and engageable with wheel via overrunning clutch making engagement with the strip. Hook's cardan joint connects the shaft with the rod. Driving wheel axles are inclined so that a contact spot of wheels on road is on the rotation axis of forks of these wheels which inclination directions are oriented towards each other. Each rod is in a guide member manufactured as separator with balls. Each strip is U-shaped and embraces its gear and is mounted in two rollers having rims.
