SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to devices for medical imaging by magnetic particles. A device for conveying a target element, which comprises a magnetic material and an active substance, along a location object in the pre-set position inside the object, and activating the active substance comprises a selection unit comprising a selection field signal generator unit and selection field elements, particularly selection field magnets or coils, for generating a magnetic selection field characterised by such a spatial pattern of magnetic field intensity that a first sub-zone having a low magnetic field intensity and a second sub-zone having a higher magnetic field intensity are formed in a visual field, an excitation unit comprising an excitation field signal generator unit and excitation field coils, and a control unit of the excitation field signal generator unit to move the target element along the object in a direction requested by displacement commands for placing the target object in the desired position inside the object and for activating the active substance when the target element reaches the desired position. A method for displacing the target element is implemented when actuating the device.
EFFECT: using invention enables providing high accuracy with non-invasive displacement inside the object and activating the active substances by means of the magnetic field.
