SUBSTANCE: device comprises 8 CMIS transistors with n-type conductivity (1-8) and 8 CMIS transistors with p-type conductivity (9-16), connected between a power bus (17) and a neutral bus (18), to the gates of which input signals (19-26) are transmitted. As a result, a basic logic function Z = ( X 1.1 ¯ X 2.1 ¯ X 1.2 ¯ X 2.2 ¯ ) ( X 1.3 ¯ X 2.3 ¯ X 1.4 ¯ X 2.4 ¯ ) is obtained at the outputs of the element (27-30) which, under the condition that X1=X1.1=X1.2=X1.3=X1.4 and X2=X2.1=X2.2=X2.3=X2.4, realises the NAND function with fourfold redundancy, which is close to the "quadded logic" (interwoven logic) approach. The device maintains the type of function executed by the device with non-recurrent constant failures of inputs or transistors and can be used when detecting faults which satisfy given models of failures without carrying out additional reconfiguration procedures.

EFFECT: high reliability of the element in case of transistor failures by maintaining the type of the executed logic function with non-recurrent constant failures of the inputs of the element or transistors.
