FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transmission devices and may find application in on-board equipment of command and tracking systems (CTS OE) of spacecrafts. A redundant power amplifier (RPA) for CTS OE comprises a splitter with several inputs, each outlet of which is connected with an inlet of one of two low-capacity amplifiers, outlets of which are connected with inlets of two high-capacity amplifiers via a device of cross redundancy, and three outlets of RPA, two of which are outlets of high-capacity amplifiers, at the same time each low-capacity and high-capacity amplifier are connected to their source of secondary power supply, each of which is connected by an external command. A cross redundancy device is a switch comprising two inlets, which are switched synchronously: either its first inlet to its first outlet, connected with an inlet of one high-capacity amplifier, and its second inlet to the second outlet of the switch, being the second outlet of the RPA, or the first inlet to its second outlet, and the second inlet to the third outlet, connected with the inlet of the second high-capacity amplifier.
EFFECT: reduction of mass and reduction of power consumption.
