FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology, namely to an automatic device and a method for cleaning and separation of target nucleic acid from a biological sample. The device provides for a possibility of preventing contamination of the separated target nucleic acid from aerosol and that can be used for all kinds of equipment for separation and cleaning of nucleic acids from a variety of biological samples, which uses a magnetic rod or a multiple-pipette unit moving in two or three axial directions.
EFFECT: improving cleaning quality of target nucleic acids separated from a biological sample against their being contaminated with aerosol formed from a biological sample containing the target nucleic acid in a high concentration in order to provide more accurate results of further investigations of the separated target nucleic acids.
