FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: CD16+CD25+ and IL-6 are measured in blood of the newborn children born by mothers with persistent herpes virus infection on the 7-10 day. If the CD16+CD25+ values are 3.5% and less, while the IL-6 value is 32.6 pg/ml and more, the progression of severe infection caused by herpes simplex type 1 and 2 is diagnosed in the newborn children. The method enables reducing the time of analysis and increasing the accuracy of individual prognosis.
EFFECT: early diagnostics of the severe intrauterine infection caused by herpes simplex virus type 1 and 2 in the newborn children for the timely prediction of pathogenic therapy.
