FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cable networks for distributing radio frequency signals, particularly within a building. A radio frequency signal cable comprises a metallic material joining a plurality of radio frequency signal channels in a generally planar structure, wherein at least a first channel is configured to radiatively transmit and/or receive a first radio frequency signal from the first channel, and a second channel is configured to radiatively transmit and/or receive a second radio frequency signal from a second channel.
EFFECT: multichannel cable for transmitting a radio frequency signal can have multiple outbound channels, a dedicated receiving channel, and on-site programmable radiators, to provide for flexible network design and optimisation in a given indoor radiative environment, for example, wireless applications inside buildings.
