HYBRID CABLING SYSTEM AND NETWORK FOR IN-BUILDING WIRELESS APPLICATIONS Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC H04B10/25

Abstract RU 2550148 C2

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in a hybrid network for in-building wireless (IBW) applications. A hybrid cabling system for providing wireless coverage in a building provides a forward link path and a reverse link path, includes a forward link which includes at least one optical fibre for connecting a first signal generated at a radio frequency input unit with a radio frequency antenna node, and a reverse link which includes coaxial cable, wherein part of the reverse link includes radiating coaxial cable configured to receive a second signal transmitted by wireless terminal equipment in the building and transmit the second signal to the radio frequency input unit, where each link is located on a separate carrier.

EFFECT: high transmission channel throughput.
