SYSTEM OF BUFFER GAS SUPPLY TO "DRY" GAS-DYNAMIC SEALS Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC F16J15/40 

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: system supplying the buffer gas to "dry" gas-dynamic seals contains pipelines for buffer gas supply from the compressor channel to cartridges of "dry" gas-dynamic seals, installed in them filters and check valves. At that for one cartridge of "dry" gas-dynamic seals the pipeline is connected with suction nozzle of the compressor, and for the another cartridge - with discharge nozzle of the compressor. Such design of the system supplying gas to "dry" gas-dynamic seals of the centrifugal compressor removed the possibility of the buffer gas overflows from the cartridge of the "dry" gas-dynamic seal to the suction chamber.

EFFECT: levelling of main gas flow and improvement of work characteristics of the centrifugal compressor.
