FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a gas industry system, a dry gas seal system in compressors of a gas transfer unit. Method provides control of tightness of dry gas-dynamic seals (DGS), check of correctness of DGS installation and integrity of O-rings in static mode without complete assembly of centrifugal compressor (CC), as an example in composition of supercharger “НЦ25М/120”, with reduction of the centrifugal compressor commissioning period, exclusion of the risk of unsealed DGS installation into the supercharger.
EFFECT: technical result of the DGS pressure testing technology application after installation with working pressure on the centrifugal compressor is the following: elimination of the risk of installing unsealed DGSs into the compressor, possibility of pressure testing of DGS without complete assembly of supercharger by working pressure of compressor without using additional material and technical resources, pipelines and shutoff valves, which are not part of compressor piping, shorter time for repair of a centrifugal compressor of a gas pumping unit.
