FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: bolt of artillery-type weapon contains a wedge inside of which located is piston-shutter with possibility of movement under closed wedge along barrel channel axis to the chamber and its locking before a shot, and in breech installed are an additional wedge with its drive and an extractor, interacting with piston-shutter and additional wedge. Piston-shutter on a part of its length from the chamber side is designed hollow with possibility of partial location of charge in it after chamber locking. For chamber locking before a shot, a wedge with piston-shutter moves to the chamber by breech guide, and axis of piston-shutter coincides with the barrel channel axis. Then additional wedge with its drive moves to closed position along another breech guide, during this movement it displaces piston-shutter along the barrel channel axis from the wedge to the chamber using extractor, thus forming tension between chamber walls and piston-shutter and locking thus the chamber. Charge in it is introduced partially into the piston-shutter, and upon shot powder gases generate pressure on its walls.
EFFECT: improving reliability of powder gases shuttering in sliding wedge of artillery-type weapon of caseless loading.
