FIELD: armaments, in particular, multiple-gun artillery systems. SUBSTANCE: the twin-gun artillery mount has a cradle with two barrels positioned in it one above the other, fastened for reciprocating motion in its axis. The barrels are so installed that their axes are in parallel with each other and positioned in the vertical plane passing through the axis of symmetry of the cradle in cross section, the upper and lower barrels are kinematically linked with the respective upper and lower shell feed ribs, with the respective upper and lower breechblocks-piston-type charge feed ribs, each of them is made as a longitudinally-sliding one and has an elastically- plastic "Banjo" type obturator, the upper and lower breechblocks-charge feed ribs are made engageable in the locked position by their locking lugs directly with the tube of the upper or lower barrel, besides, the upper and lower barrels are kinematically linked with the respective left-hand and right-hand recoil checks, which are so installed that their axes are in the same plane passing through the axis of the journals. The dimensions of the cradle and barrels are bound up by a definite relationship. Besides, a muzzle brake of the cellular type is made on each barrel in the front section of the tube, the muzzle brake has side vents directed in the opposite sides in the horizontal plane, and the upper and lower shell feed ribs are connected to the drive of their motion, for example of the hydropneumatic type, consisting of the first and second hydraulic cylinders of the upper and lower shell feed ribs, third and fourth hydraulic cylinders of motion of the upper and lower breechblocks - charge feed ribs, as well as of the upper and lower hydraulic pumps kinematically linked with the upper and lower barrels, as well as of at least one upper and one lower hydro- pneumatic accumulators, control unit and a stand-by hydraulic pump connected to an external power source.
