FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: optimised control consists in application of side thrusters. Side thrusters consist of rectifier, filter, independent voltage inverter, control system, induction motor, range finder and screw. Control system is built around microcontroller hardware to compute parameters of preset control parameters. Two side thrusters are arranged at fore and aft while range finders are used instead of radars.
EFFECT: higher mobility and accuracy of vessel positioning, higher safety in narrow-channel passing.
