SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thrusters of ships. The thruster of the vessel is controlled from the wheelhouse and consists of a tunnel located perpendicular to the diametrical plane, turning in bearings by vertical shafts with drives for closing and opening the tunnel outlet openings, a propeller and its drive in the tunnel. Sealing segments are installed on the bow and stern edges of the unfolding flaps, and the swing drives are located inside the ship's hull outside the tunnel lumen.
EFFECT: increased maneuverability of the vessel.
