FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: method for blocking and permitting vehicle movement based on gas analysis of expired air consists in the following: expired air sample is taken from driver, concentrations of gas components are determined in this sample using measuring transmitters, vehicle location coordinates are determined, measured concentration values and vehicle location coordinates are transmitted using wireless communication to analysis and decision making unit where obtained concentration values are compared with rated values. When obtained values exceed rated values vehicle movement blocking signal is transmitted using wireless communication. When values are lower than rated ones vehicle movement permitting signal is transmitted from analysis and decision making unit. Mobile phone communication is used as wireless communication. Concentrations of gas components measurement is carried out using measuring transmitters of various physical operating principles.
EFFECT: improved reliability of measurements.
