FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle driver condition monitoring technique. Method for disabling and enabling vehicle movement based on driver physical condition diagnostics consists in the following: in the air sample taken from driver alcohol concentration is determined, voice message from driver is received and vehicle location coordinates are determined. Then, measured values are transmitted to analysis and decision making unit where based on comparative analysis of received values versus maximum allowable values, signal is transmitted either for disabling vehicle movement or for enabling movement. As data transmission channel, mobile phone communication is used, and alcohol concentration in exhaled air sample is measured by means of measurement sensors installed in mobile phone.
EFFECT: higher safety of vehicle operation.
