FIELD: engineering of equipment for analyzing composition of gas mixtures, possible use for determining numeric content of various gases in multi-component gas mixtures.

SUBSTANCE: gas mixtures selected for analysis are let through measuring cells, for utilization of in each separate cell of measuring non-selective indicator of different physical functioning method, having linear characteristic or nonlinear characteristic, linearized in area of presumed control of electric signal values. Influence of each sensor on one another along electrical and pneumatic circuits is removed. Number of indicators is at least not less than number of gas mixture components, and values of concentrations of gas mixtures components are determined on basis of previously known qualitative compositions of gas mixtures by measured values of electric signals of measuring indicators, and sensitivities of measuring indicators relatively to each concrete component of gas mixture, determined by calibrating functions, as a solution of linear equations system, linking values electric signals, sensitivities of indicators relatively to concrete component of gas mixture and concentrations, while prior to letting gas mixtures to measuring cells their homogenization is performed. Also proposed is method for analysis of gas mixture, containing air and one additional component and device for realization of method.

EFFECT: simplification and lowered laboriousness of gas mixtures composition analysis, increased analysis trustworthiness.
