FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical processing of metal parts in variable-conductivity working medium. First, electric discharge gap is filled with working medium to feed current pulse to tool electrode and part to make working fluid temperature reach the conductivity threshold. Working fluid is pumped in electric discharge gap at feed of current pulses to electrode and part at frequency inversely proportional to positive gradient between working temperature and working medium conductivity threshold temperature. Device comprises tool electrode, temperature transducer arranged in working medium and two current sources connected in parallel to part and tool electrode. One of said sources is a pulse current source connected with current pulse frequency regulator to be controlled by temperature transducer signals. Valve designed to control working fluid feed to processing zone by temperature regulator in response to temperature transducer signals is arranged at electric discharge gap outlet between tool electrode and part.

EFFECT: simplified temperature control at electrochemical processing.
