FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method includes electrochemical treatment of metals and alloys in neutral electrolytes on small interelectrode gaps by means of current pulses which are synchronised with vibration phases of tool electrode cp that correspond to electrolyte pressure maximum in interelectrode gap. Tool vibration mode and approach speed of electrodes are selected so that high pressure pulse length would be equal or more than current pulse width. The device for electrochemical treatment by pulse current with cyclic variations of interelectrode gap contains vibrator, feed drive consisting of motor, traction device made as screw-nut pair, hollow spindle made capable to perform vertical feed along guides of portal strut, and motion sensor. In this device, at lower end of hollow spindle on centering diaphragms, bearing electrode arm holder with flat rests is suspended. The holder wraps bearings of vibrator shaft eccentric journal and is capable to reciprocate in feed direction.
EFFECT: invention makes possible to improve accuracy and efficiency of vibrating tool electrode treatment due to decrease in errors within feed drive of tool electrode, obtaining possibility to feed current pulses at the moments when optimal combination of inerelectrode gap with highest electrolyte pressure is achieved.
