FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to membrane technologies, composition and structure of membranes, intended for separating mixture of simplest mono- and diatomic alcohols by method of pervaporation. As membrane material used is composition, including poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenyleneoxide) and hybrid star-like polymer with fullerene (C60 )-centre of branching and with rays from non-polar polystyrene polymer and polar diblock-copolymer (poly-2-vinylpyridin-block-poly-tert-butylmethacrylate) in amount 1-5 wt %. Membrane represents dense 25÷30 mcm thick film. In application of membrane, containing 5 wt % of hybrid star-like polymer, selectivity of methanol separation equals 930 with pervaporation of mixture, containing 5% of methanol in ethylene glycol.
EFFECT: membrane is characterised by long time of exploitation, as well as stability with respect to separated mixtures in wide range of concentrations.
