FIELD: chemistry of macromolecular compounds.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to membranes made of composite polymeric functional materials intended for selective extraction of methanol by vacuum pervaporation from organic mixtures with heptane, benzene and toluene. The membrane is characterized by the fact that compositions consisting of poly-m-phenylene-iso-phthalamide and a complex modifier are used as the membrane material, which is a mixture in a 1:1 mass ratio of a star-shaped polymer with a fullerene C60 branching centre with twelve rays from a non-polar polystyrene polymer and a polar diblock copolymer of poly-2-vinylpyridine-block-poly-tert-butyl methacrylate and ionic liquid [BMIM][Tf2N] in an amount of 2 and 5 wt.%, where the specified hybrid polymer membrane is made in the form of a non-porous homogeneous film with 40-50 microns thick.
EFFECT: creation of a membrane with improved separating characteristics for separating methanol from mixtures with aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons by vacuum pervaporation.
