FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: membrane is obtained from polymer material with dominant permeability for methanol. The polymer material used is a polyphenylene-iso-phthalamide-based nanocomposite containing 1-3 wt % nanodiamonds. The membrane is in the form of a nonporous dense film with thickness of 15-40 mcm. Said nanocomposite is obtained via a solid-phase reaction by dispersing nanodiamond powder in a polyphenylene-iso-phthalamide matrix.
EFFECT: membrane is characterised by high separating capacity during pervaporation of a methanol-methyl acetate mixture, a long operation period and resistance from the separated mixtures.
