FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: ampoule opening device is shaped as a bridge forming a laterally tapered slot in its gap. Bridge branches are locked in the narrowest portion of the gap. The bridge has two of these tapered slots on opposite ends. An edge profile of the slot contacting to an ampoule neck has a flat or dished segment. For opening the neck-free ampoule the opening device has a notch or an opening with edges coated with commercial diamond or other solid particles from the tapered slot, or in the bridge between the two slots according to the version with two openings. The edges of the above notch are shaped as an angle of approximately 30 degrees, while the opening is square or rhombic. Besides, the bridge comprises one or more square or rhombic openings with rounded edges.
EFFECT: splinter-proof opening of ampoules of various sizes and ease of use.
