FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to separation of harmful substances, particularly sand from; liquid flow or low-concentration fibrous suspension in cellulose production. Proposed device comprises cyclone separator with vertical chamber with tangential inlet arranged at chamber top part to create vortex motion of cleaned flow and intake outlet. Note here that conical bottom part of said separator is equipped with rejecting outlet. Device comprises two or more cyclone separators 301 to be connected in parallel. This allows extending their inlets to one feed channel 310 with at least one inlet. Their intake outlet extends to common discharge channel 313 with at least one outlet. This allows their rejecting outlets extend to common discharge channel with at least one outlet connected with at least one auxiliary separator 316 provided with pipes 318, 319 for discharge of suitable fractions and rejected fractions.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
