FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to fuel supply systems for the diesel engines, and can be used as the fuel injector of the diesel engine. The diesel injector contains the sprayer casing, control valve, electric magnet, electric magnet armature with difference that contains the control valve body, the control valve nut, cap, drain union, spring, the control valve spring, fuel supply union, slotted filter, sprayer needle, slide valve, sprayer, sprayer nut, centring pins, sealing elements, fuel supply and drainage channels; at that the sprayer needle is made integral with the slide valve rigidly linked with the control valve, and cavity of the control valve body is connected by two holes with HP line and by two holes with drain line.
EFFECT: increased response of the injector control valve, and hence of the entire injector, simplified design of the injector, and reduced weight of the sprayer needle due to optimal use of the hydraulic forces during the control valve operation.
