DIESEL NOZZLE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: Diesel nozzle has case 1, sprayer 2 needle 3, bushing 4, and control electromagnet 5. Case 1 is provided with passage 3 for supplying fuel which connects fuel supply connecting pipe 9 with space 10 of the sprayer. Sprayer 2 and needle 3 form under-needle space 11 with nozzle passages 12. Bushing 4 is positioned on needle 3 and has radial through opening 13. Needle 3 has axial passage 17 and radial through passage 18 which is in communication with passage 17. The passages connect under-needle space 11 with openings 13 of bushing 4. Openings 13 are in communication with passage 8 for supplying fuel through openings 19 provided in the case. Armature 20 of control magnet 5 interacts with bushing 4 via double-arm lever 22.
