FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to laboratory diagnostics, and can be used for platelet function testing. To this effect, the anticoagulated blood is enabled to pass through a capillary having a platelet plug surface, and the blood is monitored or measured in the capillary for the purpose of the platelet function evaluation. A portion of the capillary inside has a section having walls extending towards the capillary blood flow and divides the capillary width by five and more passages, wherein the each passage width in the above section makes at least 200mcm. The anticoagulated blood is treated for weak platelet activation by mixing it with a platelet-activating agent in an amount, which implies no irreversible platelet aggregation. The platelet-activating agent represents adenosine diphosphate in the final concentration of 0.001 to 5 mcM or arachidonic acid in the final concentration of 0.001 to 1 mM. What is presented is a platelet function testing device.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides the accurate platelet diagnosis when using a small amount of the blood.
