FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: rock drill bit comprises legs with the inclined pins installed on them rolling cutter with driving and driven rims, designed with casted, milled or hard-alloy asymmetric teeth, and a flushing system. The front (with reference to the direction of slipping of cutting structure) side of the tooth operating in the mode of slipping or braking is inclined with reference to the line connecting tooth top to an axis of rotation of a rolling cutter in the section, perpendicular to the generatrix of the rolling cutter, at an angle γ=0÷18°, and an angle between the line connecting the tooth top with an axis of rotation of the rolling cutter, and a surface of obtusion site amounts α=60÷85°. Teeth of the rolling cutter operating in the mode of slipping or a braking are designed with curvilinear front and back sides with reference to the direction of cutting structure slipping, and curve radiuses - r1 and r2 respectively of the front and back with reference to the direction of slipping of the cutting structure of a side of asymmetric tooth, are determined by certain relations.
EFFECT: improvement of overall performance of a bit by decrease of consumption of power for destruction and removal of crushed rock from a ditch formed by working part of each tooth of the cutting structure.
