SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and device of preliminary forming textile preform (48). The method comprises the operations: placing the textile, and the textile comprises at least two layers (12, 16) of at least partially located one above the other fibres and/or woven to each other fibres and/or bundles of fibres, textile fibres fixation together and then cutting the textile. And textile fibres fixation comprises a step of irradiating with the laser beam (34), so that the fusible binder of the textile only locally melts and does not evaporate. It is also provided that the textile fibres fixation is carried out along the fixation line (36), the cutting is carried out along the cutting line (46). Moreover, the fixation line (36) has such short distance to the cutting line (46) that fringing of the textile is prevented or suppressed. The device of preliminary forming the textile preform (48) comprises the corresponding nodes for the implementation of the method operations according to the invention and the laser control unit (32).
