FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drive equipped with bent linear induction motor. Proposed is a direct drive with bent liner induction motor. Motor rotor is mechanically secured to spinning fame and can include two plies: aluminium and steel rings. Motor stator comprises one or several bent segments controlled by driving unit. Stator bent segments are located inside rotor ring circle. Note here that outer curve of stator bent segments is closely aligned with the rotor ring inner curve.
EFFECT: higher reliability of drive system at increased weight and inertia of spinning frame, possibility to increase the gentry central opening.
