FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: support for the visualization system object includes a countertop providing support to the subject or object of the area under study in the visualization system, a base containing a mechanical linear actuator and a connection mechanically connecting said countertop and the mechanical linear actuator so that this mechanical linear actuator moves the countertop in the direction of the z-axis inward and out of the area under study. This connection rotates in two directions and moves in one direction. These two rotational directions and one direction of movement are transverse to the direction of the z-axis, or rotates in one direction and moves in two directions. The said one rotational direction and the two movement directions are transverse to the z-axis direction, thereby providing at least three degrees of freedom, allowing the said connection to move and/or rotate in the presence of inaccuracies in machining and/or displacement, compensating for at least, either the indicated inaccuracies in machining, or the specified displacement of the mechanical linear actuator. The method of moving the countertop of the support for the visualization system object includes moving the countertop of the support for the object of the visualization system with respect to the base of said support for the object by means of a connection and a mechanical linear actuator.

EFFECT: use of group of inventions makes it possible to compensate for inaccuracies in the displacement of a mechanical linear actuator.
